Hopefully any questions you might have will be answered on this page, but if not please feel free to contact me so I can provide any extra information you may require.

Firstly ,choose a service that meets your needs and customize it to your pet's exact requirements. Contact me via email or phone, read my T&C and Privacy Policy, and complete the info form, if not yet done. Once we confirm the services and pricing that suit you, I'll add you to my booking system to secure your reservation.
Please note that no service is officially confirmed until we conduct a meet-up consultation where we discuss your pet's requirements and daily routine. The meet-up consultation is an essential step in the process, and the service is considered confirmed only when the meet-up is complete.
During the meet and greet, we'll discuss your pet's needs and ensure that I'm the right fit for your requirements.
Meet-up consultations typically last between 20-45 minutes, allowing us to get to know each other and cover all essential details. I'll provide the necessary forms for you to complete online, ensuring I have all the relevant information and contact details. In some cases, I may also collect keys for added convenience.
I use Pet Sitter Plus software for my online booking. If requested, you can receive login details for the software, where you can conveniently book services online and access your pet’s profile. However, if you prefer, you can still make bookings via email, text, or phone after completing your registration.

Every pet and their owners are different, there is no 'one size fits all' approach to the care I provide -So my prices depend on your location, duration, number of pets and level of care required.
It's a personal and tailored service & I'll provide a quote to you within 24 hours of your enquiry.

If you need to cancel a booking, please telephone or email me as soon as possible. Additionally, you can also use the Pet Sitter Plus software to manage cancellations, providing you with added flexibility and convenience.
As a small business, I really appreciate it if my customers give me as much notice as possible. If you cancel a dog walk or pet visit less than 24 hours prior to the booking, you will be charged in full. Any cancellations made within 48 hours will have to pay 50% of service. For pet sitting -there is a 72 hours cancellation policy. The client will be charged full amount unless a medical emergency. If the client provide 4 days or more notice, only 25% deposit is non-refundable. This policy is to compensate me for lost revenue from turning away other business to honour your booking.
Please ensure that you read and understand my cancellation policy, and ask me if you have any questions.

Unfortunately no- it is really important that we meet in person before any arrangements are made so I can explain how I work what documents need to be signed but most importantly to get to know your pet and see if we are comfortable with each other.

The Pet Sitting service is a way for your pet to stay at home and in their own environment. This is especially good for nervous, anxious dogs or if you have a large number of pets in your home. I offer round-the-clock care, whether it's overnight from the day of your departure to your return or even daytime care for an hour or more. During this time, I provide attentive care to your pets, ensuring they receive the same love and attention as you would provide
Pet visits are where I “pop in” to check on your pet, give them food and fresh water, change litter, replace bedding, let them out to relieve themselves and give them plenty of fuss and attention. These visits are usually around 30 minutes long. Please see my individual Services pages for more details.
-
Not at the moment but I am planning to offer more services in the future so please keep an eye on my website for updates and additional offerings. Also feel free to ask me and I will see if I can help you with any other pet related services.
-
No, unfortunately, I am not offering this service at this time because it requires a license from the council, which I don’t have.
-
Yes, I can offer evening, weekend or Bank Holiday walks by special arrangement. Please contact me to arrange walks outside my usual days/hours. Please note these are charged at an extra rate.
-
Yes. I am happy to provide services as and when you require, assuming I have availability. I do recommend that you give as much notice as possible.
-
I walk in all weathers, so you can be confident that your dog won’t miss its walk – rain, hail or shine. And when we’ve finished our walk, I’ll make sure its coat and paws are towelled down and that they have plenty of fresh water to drink!
The only exception being extreme weather conditions which may present a risk to the safety of your dog but I will always contact you beforehand to advise. I will normally offer a let out visit instead of the dog walk, where I will check on your dog, let them out for a quick toilet break, and make sure any food and water is topped up as necessary.
For more detailed information, please refer to my weather plan policy in the ‘Terms and Conditions’ section.
-
If I am unable to operate due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, I will endeavour to let the client know as soon as possible. Any sessions already paid for will either be refunded or rolled over, whichever suits the client.
-
I prefer to walk a maximum of 4 dogs at any one time though this can be increased to more (max. 6) in certain circumstances.
The groups are carefully selected by size, age, and sex so that your dog can have the best experience possible. I introduce new dogs to the pack slowly and safely. New dogs will be walked on lead when introduced to allow me to monitor each dogs behaviour and suitability.
Dogs recovering from illness or an operation, timid or anxious dogs, a puppy or older dogs may benefit from solo walks, and I am happy to provide such services. I very much regret that aggressive dogs or dogs with behavioural problems cannot be accommodated
-
I will only let your dog off the lead once I have got to know the dog and have written consent to do so. If your dog is not so good on their recall I prefer to keep them on a long lead and let them run and play in safety. A client might be off the lead in an enclosed private field. Any off-lead walks are provided exclusively at the owner’s risk.
-
Daily solo and group dog walks are normally carried out between 8am and 5pm, though pick ups may be earlier and drop offs may be later. Due to the nature of my work, visits are scheduled within a 2- 3 hour block of time. For example, my dog walking clients may schedule between 11:00-2:00 or 1:00-3:00.
During your meet and greet I will ask if you'd prefer me to walk your dog or visit your pet in the morning, at lunchtime or in the afternoon. Exact timings depend on the dogs on a particular day and traffic conditions and weather etc, so it's not always possible to pinpoint exact timings but I will always try to walk as close to your requested time as I can.
I will endeavour to meet your request, however please be aware that this may not always be possible and cannot be guaranteed.
-
I will try to stay local to you home and will look for areas like parks, woodland and fields, so your dog can walk and run freely away from cars and busy roads. Occasionally, I can take dogs to private fields for more adventurous outings.
If you have a preferred place your dog likes to walk I will try to accommodate this. My walks will often be determined by the weather or location of my clients. I try to ensure that the maximum travel time to any destination doesn't exceed 20 minutes.
-
I am always careful when selecting which dogs will walk together, if I find that dogs don't mix well within the group then I will switch accordingly and inform you of my decision. I want all of my dogs to enjoy their walk. It's your choice. I can either walk your dog alone in order to provide one-to-one attention, or I can walk him with other dogs if he enjoys the company.
-
I will pick up your dog from your home/place of work at set time agreed by you and then return them after their walk. In the event of wet weather, I will also towel dry your dog before his return.
For more information please check Pick -up and Drop off Policy in the ‘Terms and Condition’ section.
-
No. Most clients are comfortable sharing a set of keys with me to enable me to enter your home or collect and drop off your dog when you are not home. All keys in my possession are kept in a secure location and will never be marked with anything other than the name of your dog.
-
Currently, I am operating 7 days a week ( this might change in the future , but for now it remains as 7 days ).My usual weekday hours are 8am - 6.30pm, but I am generally happy to make arrangements outside of these hours in special circumstances. If you have a specific time requirement, please let me know at the time of booking and I will do my best to accommodate this. Please note that higher charges do apply for services rendered outside my standard hours.
My group walk time slots are morning visits between 9am and 11am, lunchtime visits between 11am and 1pm and afternoon visits between 1pm and 3pm. Solo walks and drop in feeds & checks are generally before 9am and after 3pm.
For double visits I aim to leave sufficient time between the two sessions. Keeping the daily routine constant for your pet(s) while you are away.
-
Yes. Please contact me for more details.
-
Yes, your pet will be constantly supervised at all times during the walk or sit.
-
Yes! As the new microchipping law came in to force April 2016 I will now ask that not only are all the dogs microchipped but I will also need to ensure their details are up to date and registered with a microchip database.
-
Yes, I am only able to take on pets that are vet registered. I will record your vet’s details on my veterinary release form and ask you to leave an emergency contact number in the unlikely event there’s a medical problem.
I also require all dogs to be fully vaccinated, wormed and have regular flea treatments. Your dog will meet a variety of dogs when out on their group walks and will also come across wildlife, so vaccination is important. I kindly ask clients to please ensure you adhere to this and I may ask for proof if necessary.
I also recommend Kennel Cough vaccinations as it is easily spread and if contracted would result in a period of quarantine from other dogs and exclusion from the group walks.
Puppies over 6 months who are fully vaccinated and fit and healthy are welcome as part of the dog groups. This makes for important socialisation to get use to mixing with other breeds and personalities.
(puppy home visits excepted)
-
I would always advise pet owners to have pet insurance, at the very least public liability cover.
-
Yes, the Control of Dogs Order 1992 requires that most dogs wear a collar and a tag or disc showing the name and address of the owner.
-
Whilst I prefer not to, I will always try and help out. Under these circumstances, I will offer solo walks, on the lead and will try to exercise your dog in a quiet area away from other dogs. I cannot be held responsible should your dog become pregnant.
Alternatively, I am more than happy to visit your dog and play with her/exercise her in the garden.
-
This can be discussed in the initial consultation, each dog will be considered separately but I reserve the right to refuse any dog.
-
Your dog should have its normal walking equipment, collar and a harness if one is worn. I use my own leads, and will supply the poop bags and treats for during and after the walk unless your dog has a medical condition; in this case I would ask you to supply treats that your dog is safe to have.
Similarly, if your dog requires a coat/cooling jacket, please make this available.
In the event of very muddy weather, extra towels should be provided for proper cleaning.
-
Food, bedding and litter are not included in the cost of the pet visit booking, so please make sure you have stocked up on litter, food and any treats you would like me to feed your pets.
Should anything run out and I need to purchase extra, the costs will be invoiced and receipts provided for immediate reimbursement within 24 hours.
-
Your dog will travel in style in my insured van, which has fitted, independently crash tested DT boxes for comfort and safety with non-slip and very comfortable mats, air vent for those hot days, and water at all times. I carry a first aid kit, plenty of water and other walking essentials and do everything I can to ensure your pup is safe and comfortable.
-
No, it is my policy not to accept aggressive dogs, even when they wear a muzzle, to ensure safety.
-
Yes all of them . Big ones, small ones, young ones, old ones as long as they are not of an aggressive nature or banned breeds in the UK.
I meet all dogs before I walk them and each new dog is subject to a trial period regardless of reputation of particular breeds. Any instances of aggressive behaviour will be investigated and I reserve the right to refuse to walk any dog.
-
Unfortunately, I am unable to walk XL Bully dogs, as my insurance does not cover this breed.
-
I am happy to collect keys at the meet and greet, or just before the first day of service. At our initial visit I will practise locking up your property with you. If you do not wish for me to retain a key, a charge of £5 is given for future collections and drop offs ( each ), or you can bring the key to me before the first day of each booked service period.
Many clients choose to have a key cut which I keep locked away safely, but it is up to you if you choose to leave it in a safe place or key safe for me each time. If you are having a key cut for me, please have this ready and tested for the free Meet and Greet.
Your keys are covered under my business insurance and are kept in a safe place while in my care. I code all of my clients’ keys instead of labelling them with your name, address or other personal details.
-
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately. I take all the emergency contact details I need when you register with me. If necessary, I will take your pet to your named vet or the closest possible vet, depending on the circumstances. The client is responsible for settling any fees incurred with the vet directly.
-
Yes, I do have van signage; however, for pet sitting services, it will be removed for security reasons. The signage is magnetic, making it easily detachable from the van. Additionally, I prefer not to attract unnecessary attention by arriving in a marked van, especially when clients are away on holiday and their homes are unoccupied. Your security and privacy are of utmost importance to me
-
Your key will be kept secure and away from personal information and no key can be identified to any property. In the event of your key being lost or stolen I will advise you, also your personal information will never be sold or discussed with any 3rd parties in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Additionally, for added safety, during dog walking each dog will have my collar tag with my phone number.
-
Yes, I am more than happy to administer medication with your written consent and instructions .
-
I love capturing moments with pets, and I'm happy to share updates through WhatsApp, email, or social media as you prefer. I regularly update my Instagram and Facebook with pictures of my pets and, with your permission, your pets too. For security, I never use addresses or share sensitive details about clients' homes in my social media posts.
THANK YOU
